TWO YEAR OLDS

Learning how to interact with their friends and communicate their desires verbally are two very important steps achieved in this exciting time as your child grows over his two year old year at Kidzone Preschool Academy. In an environment full of fun, learning and love, you will watch your child begin to blossom. We start our day by welcoming all of our friends into class each morning, and giving the children the opportunity to build with blocks, put together puzzles, cook a pretend meal, read a book or even rock a baby doll to sleep. Then it’s off for potty training! Our Kidzone teachers are as excited as you are as your child reaches this important milestone. With potty training out of the way, our two-year-olds begin an exciting day of learning, discovering and playing.

Our top-notch curriculum not only teaches about, shapes, numbers and arts and crafts, but also helps to develop the children’s language skills as they are engaged in lively discussions about topics such as animals, transportation, health, safety, science and most importantly, manners! Music time is always a favorite time of day, when you can catch the children clapping, dancing, singing and making hand motions to their favorite songs. And, when it’s time to have some good old fashioned fun you can find the children running, jumping, sliding and playing on either our outdoor playground, or on our indoors gigantic castle bounce house with slide! Our two-year-olds are also given computer time each week to reinforce the skills learned in the classroom, and have a special movie day in our Performing Arts Center every Friday.
