Dear Kidzone,
Mornings are enjoyable when your child loves to go to school.
I would like to share some typical morning conversations I have
with my five year old son. "Come on Mom, I want to get to school."
My reply, "Honey, it's only 6:30 a.m. and Kindergarten doesn't
begin until 8:30 a.m." He answers "I know Mom, but I like to get
to school early." I say "That's great so let's get ready." He
cheerfully agrees and says "I can get dressed by myself. Then
I want to eat breakfast, because it's the most important meal
of the day." I ask him," How did you get so smart?" He says "We
learned about the food pyramid at school." He finishes his breakfast
in a flash, asks if I packed healthy snacks in his lunch and rounds
up his backpack and ties his own shoes. Mornings are a breeze
because he loves to go to school.
We are out the door in no time flat. Along the
way we have discussions about classmates, activities and he tells
me to pick him up late because he likes to stay at school.
Upon approaching the school grounds we admire the
lovely landscaping and greeted with friendly hellos from the maintenance
man. Then it's always a rush to get to class. "Come on Mom let's
go" He is so anxious to get there. Off we go into class and then
our morning is brightened even more because the most special caring
and loving teacher says, "Good morning handsome, I am so happy
to see you." And we tell her "We are so happy to be here!"
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all
of the staff at Kidzone for creating such a loving learning experience
with appreciation. Thank you
