4 YEAR OLDS AT KIDZONE

This is where it’s at! This is what we’ve all been waiting for! This is where Kidzone Preschool Academy really gets serious! At this age everything that the child has learned so far has become it’s foundation and has prepared them for where we are about to take them...Blast Off! They come into this program as “glorified toddlers” and they leave it like “big guys and big girls,” ready for the Big K! With the perfect blend of learning and fun and the highest caliber teachers, you can be assured your child will be more than fully prepared to go to Kindergarten once he completes the Pre-K/VPK program at Kidzone Preschool Academy. We are as excited and proud as the children are when they master sounding out one and two vowel words and go on to reading sentences and stories! That’s right we said reading! Make sure you are ready for your “toddler” to become a “big guy.” Imagine how proud you will be when your child opens up a book and reads it to you. Or when he comes home and tells you he can add 1 + 1 and go all the way up to 9 + 1! Additionally, children at Kidzone are taught important values such as sharing, getting along with others, respect for adults, and always telling the truth.

Several times throughout the week, you can find our Pre-K/VPK classes visiting our Activities Center where they can use computers, play with our Thomas the Tank Engine train table, get creative with Legos, explore the science of magnets with our sand and bug table or pull up a chair, put on their headphones and listen to a lively story at our listening table. Or, you might find them jumping, bouncing and sliding in our huge indoor bounce house with slide. On special guest days you can catch them either in our Performing Arts Center watching a puppet show, saying Hi to Santa, petting a turtle, outside riding ponies, on a fun filled musical hay ride or being entertained by any one of our exciting monthly visitors. Field trip day is always a treat as the kids get to wear their very own Kidzone Preschool Academy shirt and board our own state-of-the-art Saf-T Liner bus to visit places such as Super-Play USA, Tradition Field to catch a Mets game, Whispering Pines Park for a picnic or one of our other fun locations.
