Kindergarten and First Grade - Fall 2008

We at Kidzone Preschool Academy are really excited about expanding our program to include First Grade for the 2008-2009 school year. Our teachers and students will again be able to reap the rewards of our previous diligence and hard work as we begin to build upon the foundation of our Pre-K and Kindergarten programs. We truly consider it a great privilege and honor for you to allow us to help prepare your child for elementary school. Our goal will be nothing short of having your child at the “top” of their elementary class!

Additionally, we believe it’s equally important to prepare your child for the “structure” of elementary school. Because we have had experience in the past with various unstructured child directed programs and curriculums, we are very confident of our program and our ability to fully prepare them for the teacher directed classes most of your children will attend from now on. Your child must be prepared for the discipline of staying seated, raising their hand to speak and things of this nature that many programs have got away from even though the child must be emotionally prepared for it in their future. It’s as though we have some how become convinced that a structured environment and a happy, positive environment can not co-exist. We have found this to be absolutely not true! Actually, to the contrary, it has been our experience that a child who understands it’s “borders” is actually “happier” then those that do not. Therefore, we believe as your child leaves our First Grade program that he or she will be fully prepared in more ways than one, for the years that wait ahead for them.

Also, in addition to our Academic Program, students will enjoy utilizing all that the Kidzone facility has to offer, including special guests, field trips on our brand new top of the line - Saf-T Liner bus, movie days, the indoor giant castle bounce house, the outdoor play ground and much more.

Lastly, you the parent will enjoy another year of your child being in the beauty and seclusion of our 5 plus acre campus in St. Lucie West. There truly is a peace in knowing your child is “tucked” away in an environment that seems so far from the “hustle and bustle” of the business world and yet is really so close to everything.
